The official new name of Sacramento's Pagan Newspaper! Michael
Gorman, of Sacramento Grove of the Oak was our winner. Enjoy your goodies, Michael and thank you so much for the title, we
LOVE it!
We will have more info coming soon. We are coming down from
the wild energy that has surrounded the last few weeks, due to the Faery Festival and we are enjoying the down time, but we
are still hard at work on everything.
We are shooting for a September release date, for the paper.
The guidelines for writing for the paper are below, read up if you'd like to appear in it. The submission deadline for
the first issue is July 25th.

Would you like to write for the new paper?
Here are the positions we need submissions for:

Articles: We are accepting submissions in this area. We
need thought-provoking, well-written articles on matters of importance to Pagans and Heathens of all stripes.

Poetry: Poetry of any type is acceptable. We love a good
rhyme, but that is not necessary. We do not wish to limit subject matter and would like to encourage people to take on new
avenues or uncommon subject matter---be unique. All submissions must be your original work. No extremely explicit, adult subject
matter please. However, subtlety in those areas is OK.

Short Fiction: We need one work of short fiction per issue.
Let your imaginations fly. Contemporary fiction, sci-fi with a Pagan or Heathen twist, Fantasy, speculative fiction, horror
and erotica. Gore is fine, as long as it is integral to the story and not over done. Vampires, werewolves, mean faeries, viscious
gnomes, gobblins----we have no limits. Keep the erotica tasteful and Pagan-themed, nothing that could be seen in penthouse,
please. Nothing hateful or discriminating. Stories should be well-written, character driven and richly detailed. We REALY
like detail. While we will edit for spelling and grammar, we don't want to be at it for hours, please use your spell checker!!!

like to be considered for any of these columns, email us! In some cases, we do not have names for the columns yet, if you
have any ideas for your own column, not mentioned here, then send us an example of your work and a completely outlined proposal.

Cooking Tips and Kitchen Witchery

Wisdom Through the Ages Advice Column - we will use 2
male writers and 2 female writers for this column---younger and older. We have filled the older man slot. The younger advice
writers should be between 18 and 35 and the older should be around 40 to 65. These age ranges are not set in stone. We just
need younger voices and older voices for well-rounded advice.

Media Reviews - Book, music, local bands, plays, TV shows,
movies, etc

Rant Column - This is just an opinion piece

Environmental/Gardening Tips Column - Anything related
to the great outdors, from a tree hugger's perspective. hehe
All submissions should be emailed to ASacredRealm@aol.com, in .doc format, 12 point, Arial or Times New Roman Font, double spaced.
